Just home from a 2 night stay at the Millport pier hotel, had a lovely stay in the Waverley suite with lovely views. Staff were all lovely especially the girl at breakfast. Food was great home cooked and excellent quality, hopefully we’ll be back soon in better weather. L&J
Popped in for lunch today. Turned up just before it started to get busy. We had the beef and chicken tacos for lunch, both were really lovely. Staff were friendly and service excellent. We ll definitely be back!
Just went in for drinks. Friendly bar staff. Toilets clean. Lovely beer garden at the back with views over the water. Lots of dogs when we were there, but all quiet and well behaved!
Had the pleasure of popping in for a wee drink. Popular with the locals, and a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff were fantastic... happy to stop by your table for a chat and bit of banter. I'll be back another day soon and look forward to what I've heard is a fabulous beer garden with its own bar
My 11 friends and I stayed at this lovely hotel on 9th jan ,10th jan and booked out on the 11th jan 2026. We had the most amazing time and the staff were so helpful and attentive ,food was excellent and entertainment superb . We will definitely be going back there again Thank you
Great pub with good beer and friendly staff. Can’t comment on rooms or food as we didn’t try it. Dogs are allowed in the bar, which is great, but no water inside for your dog - explained as ‘too many accidents’ - struggle to understand why a bigger bowl with less water in it couldn’t solve this? … just stayed for drinks. Guinness was good.
The staff at this hotel are second to none. Each and every one went out of there way on different occasions to ensure we had the best holiday ever. Craig, you and your team gave us the best time with there friendly manner. Our room was brilliant, chef was different class and our food was 5 star. My wife is gluten intolerant, and they went out there way to make sure she ate well. If I could give ten stars, it would be to this hotel and the staff. I will recommend highly to everyone who asks. Didn't actually stay here so can't comment on the rooms, however met quite a few people who did and they were pleased. I can't mark them down when I can't personally comment. So 5*. Perfect location. Friendly staff and locals. Basic menu, but has everything you need for good pub grub. Ideal. Enjoyed 3 days worth of food/drink and entertainment x
